Oh, please. Another blogger sitting around contemplating her navel orange? I feel your pain, so I’ll be pithy. My obsession needs a home. Where it can share recipes for a flexitarian diet, exhibit original photos and serve up tongue-in-cheek mouthfuls on the topics du jour. Whether praising a pea or appraising the planet, this writer, traveler and culinary inquisitor is bringing it all to the table. Stop rolling your eyes. You’re going to eat this stuff up.
You resisted "Beet"hoven and still came up with a wickedly wry post! You are a food and word maestro.
ReplyDeleteBecky: wow, I didn't even think of the "Beet!" Hmmm, maybe I should recrop that sheet music! : )
ReplyDeleteso funny and clever...
ReplyDeleteAdair, you are so clever! I love bok choy, but all the many times I've eaten it I've not once thought of anything like THIS!
ReplyDeleteBravo !!! Another belly laugh inducing food poem!
ReplyDeleteClever - thanks for another classic ode. I dig bok choy and am wishing I would have grown some in my garden.
ReplyDeleteHee hee, very clever, my friend! You have such originality that is both refreshing and delightful.

ReplyDeleteYour Odes always make me smile, and admire your quick and creative brain. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteYou always make me smile.
ReplyDeleteJ.S. "Bok" took me second. But as usual your humor and word craft are far superior to my tiny intellect. GREG
ReplyDeleteLove your ode to the Bok. Great veggie well worthy of the song.
ReplyDeleteBravo!
